Lucky Jimoh Completes Two-Year Move To Rangers As Flying Antelopes Begin Pre Season 2024/2025

Lucky Jimoh, a former goalkeeper of Niger Tornadoes of Minna, has completed a two-year switch to Nigeria Champions, Rangers International.
Jimoh, who had previously had career spell at Lobi Stars, is amongst new arrivals at the Coal City Flying Antelopes, as the hierarchy of the eighth time NPFL winners bolster the squad ahead the 2024/2025 domestic and continental campaigns.
On Tuesday, 9 July, Jimoh penned his deal at the Rangers Corporate Head Office, 23 Lugard Avenue, Abakaliki Road, Enugu, amidst visible excitement.
“This is another great leap in my career and I hope to bring in my best at all times to ensure that Rangers successfully defend the league title and go as far as the final match in the continental", a visibly delighted Jimoh said after penning his deal on Tuesday.
"I'm delighted with this big opportunity", he added.
However, Rangers were scheduled to kick start their new season on Wednesday,10 July, 2024, at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium as Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu and his lieutenants begin the club's pre season.
Coach Godwin Nosike, a former player of the club who had previously been part of Rangers coaching crew makes a return to the club's technical crew.
Nosike was introduced to the the rest coaches and players one of the new hands in the technical department.
Garando Tekena, Ekeson Okorie, Anayor Ogbonna, Chimobi Igwilo, Somtochukwu Nwobodo, Evans Ogbonda, Ernest Governor and Hillary Ekawu are some of the new arrivals at the Coal City Flying Antelopes who are still looking to complete paper works for a possible signing of some undisclosed players from undisclosed countries in the West African sub-region before the close of the transfer window.
CAF has given 16 July as deadline for competition registration formalities for the 2024/2025 interclub competitions.
