Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has shared details of how he met his wife and colleague, Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, revealing how their relationship blossomed from friendship into marriage.

 

In a video posted on his Instagram page late Sunday, the actor reflected on his first impression of Mo Bimpe and how his admiration for her deepened over time.

 

Recalling their early days, Lateef humorously said, “Abeni customer dada ni? She was fine when I met her; later, she became beautiful, then gorgeous, and I decided to control it, so I married her.”

 

He went on to describe his wife as calm and reserved, adding, “She is very calm because na Omo Get inside. She is always inside her compound.”

 

The couple met through their work in the Yoruba film industry and initially built a strong friendship. In previous interviews, both actors disclosed that they had not planned to marry colleagues in the industry. However, as their bond strengthened, their perspective changed, eventually leading to a romantic relationship.

 

Lateef and Mo Bimpe tied the knot on December 22, 2021, in ceremonies attended by family members, friends, and prominent figures in the film industry. Since their marriage, they have continued to feature together in film projects and frequently speak about supporting each other’s careers.

 

Mo Bimpe, an actress and film producer, gained prominence in the Yoruba film sector and has appeared in several productions alongside her husband. The couple remains active in Nollywood and is widely regarded as one of the industry’s admired celebrity pairs.
