The Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Hajji Gafar Liameed, once again brought his football administrative experience and sagacity to the fore, as he was instrumental to stopping Lagos based NNL side Tradesafe, from withdrawing from the National league, due to the club's misgivings. 

The experienced football administrator, who spoke on behalf of the Lagos FA, was quick to advise the Chairman and management team of Tradesafe, on the needs to imbibe integrity and particularly, take cognisance of the rules and regulations of the league body on the severe consequences of abrupt withdrawal from the NNL. 

Hajji Gafar Liameed, while acknowledging the the severity of pains in the nation's economy, as it affects the national life, advised the management of the team to come up stronger on the league and to forster the team's youth development programmes. 

The LSFA boss, went on to encourage the Chairman of Tradesafe, and its board of directors, to rally round financially to salvage the club's present situation and of course, uphold the integrity of Tradesafe FC.

Speaking on the latest development, the team manager of Tradesafe, John Hamilton, expressed his appreciation to the leadeship of Lagos FA for its support and encouragement.

"I want to describe the present board of the LSFA led by Hajji Gafar Liameed, for its leadership and mentorship. I believe that with the level of synergy and commitment of the LSFA board towards the development of football in Lagos State, the game in Lagos would achieve higher heights. 

On the present situation bedevilling the team, he added, "We're not well placed on the league of the NLL. However, we can come back stronger, because football, is all about win or lose," he added.
