Katsina United striker Samson Olasupo has signed a one-year contract, with an option for an additional year, with Serbian First Division side FK Radnički Sremska Mitrovica.

Olasupo impressed the Serbian club’s management so much that they decided to sign him after just three days of observation. He also came with strong recommendations from prominent international football agent, Tihomir Sloboda.

Sloboda, who visited Nigeria to scout players, spoke highly of Olasupo, which led the club to quickly offer him a trial opportunity. Speaking about the signing, Sloboda praised the club for trusting his assessment of the player and commended the management of Katsina United, led by Chairman Alhaji Kabir Dan'lami Rimi, for their cooperation in facilitating the deal without any issues. He noted that the chairman's commitment was crucial in finalizing the transfer.

Olasupo has already made his debut for FK Radnički Sremska Mitrovica, helping the team secure a 1-0 victory against Trayal Kruševac.
