Kano State Police Command don arrest three people for allegedly use fake bank alert take buy one Mercedes Benz GLE wey cost ₦75 million.

 

The suspects wey police arrest na Ibrahim Tijjani, Jamilu Auwal, and Mohammed Nura Dauda. Dem nab arrested on January 28, 2026, for Kabuga Quarters, Kano, by the Command’s Special Intervention Squad (SIS).

 

Police say the gang buy the luxury car from Gwarinpa, Abuja, and the fake ₦75 million credit alert wey dem use pay the money come from another accomplice, Ibrahim Yahaya, wey still dey run away.

 

The car don recover and police don hand am over to the FCT Police Command for further investigation.

 

Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirm the arrest and warn people to dey watch for these kind scam. He also advise residents to report any suspicious activities to the nearest security outfit or through the Nigeria Police Force official website.

 

Police still dey hunt for the fourth suspect, Ibrahim Yahaya, as investigation continue.
