The legendary actor wey don act for decades, talk say na why he don carry him destiny for hand by launching Kanayo O. Kanayo TV for YouTube.

 

As he take announce am for him Instagram page, KOK (as people sabi am) say this move na to tell correct stories without depending on people wey just fine for face but no sabi act.

 

“I don decide say I go carry my destiny for hand. I wan dey tell better story. No be by fine face. Movie no be beauty contest. Na acting and performance matter. If you no like am, na your wahala,” KOK talk.

 

Him still warn say Nollywood dey enter the same gbege wey e enter before, where sponsors push talented actors aside because dem believe say dem no go help sell film. Now, e say na the same thing we dey see again with all this “YouTube faces.”

 

“Wetin happen that year when some sponsors kill talented actors career, don come back again. This YouTube clique people don dey do the same thing – dem dey kill talent for industry,” he talk with vex.

 

KOK still reveal say some of this so-called stars go dey brag say dem fully booked from September 2025 reach August 2026, as if dem be only actor for Nollywood.

 

“How we go take create magic like this? How we go take tell story or give chance to new actors, if na only the same set of people dey show every time?” he ask.

 

To fight this trend, Kanayo open him own platform wey go give chance to fresh talents wey dey hungry to act and shine.

 

“If you be new face and you get fire, come make we create magic for Kanayo O. Kanayo TV on YouTube,” he invite young actors.
