Following a narrow 1-0 defeat to Sunshine Stars, Kabiru Dogo, coach of Nasarawa United, is now concentrating on the upcoming Matchday 9 clash against Kano Pillars.

In his post-match comments, Dogo praised his players for their performance despite the disappointing result. “While the outcome wasn’t ideal, I’m proud of the team’s effort. Congratulations to Sunshine Stars on their hard-fought win,” he said.

Dogo emphasized the need to regroup, stating, “We will focus on our next home game against Kano Pillars on Sunday, where I believe we can bounce back stronger. Our sights are set on achieving our season goals.”

With this loss, Nasarawa United has dropped to 13th place in the league standings with 9 points from eight matches, while Sunshine Stars have moved up to 4th with 13 points.

The Solid Miners will host Kano Pillars, led by Ahmed Musa, at Lafia City Stadium.
