Greenfoot Football Academy, one of the clubs taking part in the third edition of the annual Judith Chime Championship currently going on in the Coal City State, Enugu, has described the tournament as a 'dream come true' for his team and other women football clubs in the state, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Aneke spoke moments after his damsels saw off Solo Wonders 3-1 in their group C matchday two fixture at the Rangers Training Ground, Enugu, on Tuesday.

"Before this tournament, we had already started a hashtag campaign, 'girlscanplay', Aneke said.

"So the Judith Chime Championship is a dream come true for us. Before now, we never had such opportunity nor platform to expose our young girls in competitions.

"So, we're happy with the competition and that's reason why we're giving it our best".

 Greenfoot are group C run-away leaders, having amassed the maximum six points after two round of games.

But ambitious coach Aneke has not refused to be humble, saying their qualification could only be guaranteed with a win in their last group game against Disdevt in Afrik Jewels on Wednesday.

"I'm happy that we won today. Our objective is to progress to the knock out stage of the tournament and I think we can only achieve that if we win our last match (against Disdevt in Afrik) on Wednesday", the young tactician said.
