"I've No Problems With SWAN, But Few Individuals In Anambra State".....Chikelue IIoenyosi
Anambra State Football Association Chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi has stated that he has no problem with the Sports Writers Association Of Nigeria (SWAN) as a group, but some individuals in Anambra who wants to drag the name of the Association to the ground.
Speaking in Abuja, the former Junior International said " some of the guys in Awka are fond of writing some unverified stories.When I saw them and I told them that whenever they want to write any story they should verify the story first".
" So after like three weeks, I received a call from DSS that I was invited and I went to honor the invitation. When I got there, they showed me a petition written by these people, and I gave answers to the petition, and everything was nice".
The former U20 defender said when the DSS concluded their investigations and found out that he did not threatened anyone, he decided to petition his accusers individually not as a group, "I call their names: Ikem Asika, Uche Nndeke, Chimezie and Marvellous"
" So, that is the number one thing that is happening now. . And moreover, they can't put an embargo on me. I'm the FA chairman of the State, because l don't any problem whatsoever with SWAN as a group, but some individuals".
Continuing, Iloenyosi advised football shareholders in Anambra state to remain steadfast with him, as he is determined to reposition football in the state "The message I have to tell the good people of Anambra state to remain steadfast with me. I cannot be part to their lawlessness and all those things people are saying. l wish Anambra state and everybody the best of luck".
The FA Boss insisted that there maybe no peace at sight with him and his accusers as they will soon appear before a court of proper jurisdiction.
