Speed Darlington, the Nigerian rapper, has made a shocking revelation about his past encounters with the law. In a recent freestyle video, he claimed to have been arrested 19 times and detained on five occasions. He rapped, "5 lockgaups, 19 arrests, I get game but I no dey hear, when you hear this one, na Kuang."

Speed Darlington's recent arrests were related to his comments about Burna Boy's relationship with American music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy. He was detained at the Kuang Correctional Facility but was released on January 21st after being granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuang ¹.

Following his release, Speed Darlington alleged that he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt while leaving a club in Lagos. His lawyer, Stan Alieke, subsequently announced that he and his law firm would no longer represent the rapper due to these allegations. Speed Darlington responded by saying his lawyer was welcome to leave if he was tired of supporting him.
