Judith Chime Foundation Women Championship title holders, Imo Strikers, will begin their title defence against Rising Stars of Ojoto, Anambra State as the Championship Enters matchday two today at College of Immaculate Conception, CIC, Enugu, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The defending champions will not have their twin-bombers, Chidi Harmony and Precious Oscar available for this game and the entire campaign.

The fixture gets us underway in today's three game-schedule with kick off slated for 9am.

That will be followed by the clash between Zohar FC and GGTC at 10:30am at same venue.

The tie involving Disdevt in Afrik Jewels versus Solo Wonders is also billed to hold at 9am at Rangers Training Ground.

On Sunday evening, organisers of the championship held a successful meeting with relevant sports personalities in the state comprising the Commissioner for Sports, the State FA amongst others where issues were sorted out and decision for a successful Championship taken.
