Imama Amapakabo Returns To Abia Warriors As Head Coach

Abia Warriors have appointed Imama Amapakabo as their new head coach.
Amapakabo takes over from Bethel Oji, who led the team to the final of the last President Federation Cup last season.
Annoucing this in Umuahia, the Umuahia Warriors said “We are excited to welcome back Imama Amapakabo on a two-year deal as the new coach". It could be recalled that Imama was with the from the 2020 to 2022 Football seasons.
Imama, a former Home based Super Eagles Coach, was part of the Nigeria squad that won the inaugural FIFA U-16 World Championship in 1985.
In 2016, Amapakabo helped Rangers International win the Nigerian league despite being one of the youngest head coaches in the league. He had earlier Coached Elkanemi Warriors, and just returned from Rwanda, where he handled an elite division side.
