Solution FC and Edel FC, the two teams representing Anambra State in this year's President Federation Cup have received goodwill messages from the Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Chikelue 'General' Iloenyosi.

Iloenyosi in the message charged the teams to be good Ambassadors of Anambra State as they begin their push for a Round of 32 berth today.

Champions, Solution FC, will today, 1st May 2024 file out against Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side in Benin City, Edo State.

On Thursday, 2nd May 2024, Edel FC will trade tackles with Discovery Talents FC in Abuja.

Iloenyosi, Exclusivenews.com.ng understands, is physically present in Benin, having arrived the ancient city on Monday to muster support to the Anambra State Government owned club.

Checks revealed that the former Nigeria international visited the players and officials of Solution FC at their hotel camp on Wednesday morning where he addressed them on the need to give their 100% in the game and ensure victory over 3SC as a way to bringing honour to our dear State.

"At this stage, the teams are hoisting the flag of Anambra State in the President Federation Cup and there's need for adequate support for them to bring honour to our dear state. And that's why I'm here", starts Iloenyosi.

"As the Chairman of the FA in Anambra, I have to lead by example. I've to make it visibly clear to the teams that the FA and the good people of Anambra State are solidly behind them in their efforts to bring glory to our dear State.

"It's our wish and prayers for them to do well. We know they have the talents, the quality and potentials to win and we'll continue to encourage them to win.

"So, as they file out against their opponents, they should bear in mind that entire people of Anambra State are solidly behind them, supporting and praying for them", the FA boss stressed.
