Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has earned top praises from a former Super Eagles defender and now Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Chikelue Iloenyosi, following the Governor's shrewd support for football and general sports development in the State, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

'General' Iloenyosi's commendation comes on the heels of Governor Soludo's two-year in office anniversary, which has now afforded the former U23 Olympic Team defender opportunity to highlight some of Governor Soludo's 'Executive' initiatives and support for football and general sports promotion and development in the state.

In a two paragraph message on the occasion of Governor Soludo's two-year in office anniversary, which was made available to Exclusivenews.com.ng by the 'General' himself, Iloenyosi noted that the Governor's support for football and sports development initiatives in our state has been 'exemplary'.

"Your support for football and sports development initiatives in our state has been exemplary", Iloenyosi said in the message.

"Through your leadership, we've witnessed the growth of grassroot football, the enhancement of sports infrastructure and the engagement of our youth through sports programs. Congratulations, your Excellency", Iloenyosi concluded in the message.
