Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Chikelue Iloenyosi has continued to gather more feathers on his already saturated cap.

The former Super Eagles defender who also starred for the U23 Olympic Eagles before taking up the mantle of leadership of Anambra Football was on Thursday, 16 November 2023, decorated with prestigious 'Best FA Chairman award at a colourful ceremony held at the Rock View Hotel, Festac, Lagos.

The award was presented by the Meljenstin Group with the event coinciding with the Nigeria versus Lesotho FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

'General' Iloenyosi, as he's fondly called by his admirers, was represented by his PA Amechi who received the award on his behalf.

Since his assumption of office in July 2022, as the Chief Priest in the temple of football in Anambra State, 'General' Iloenyosi has changed football narratives in the state.

It has been competition after competition in the state since his tenure began.
