A former player of Ejiwumi Football Club of Gwagwalada, Ejiofor Oken has promised to continue to render support to the grassroots where he was made.

Ejiofor who played for the Gwagwalada based team before he took his trade to Finland, where he played for various teams before being slowed down by injury, told Exclusivenews.com.ng that his motive now is to support his grassroot club, and the players to attain their potentials in the round leather game.

Quoting his words the lanky attacker who was the once the highest goal scorer in the FCT Football League said " I must appreciate the Proprietor of Ejiwumi FC of Gwagwalada, Alhaji Musa Mudashiru for his support. He is really passionate about the development of the youths in the locality, and such a person should be supported to continue the good work he is doing" he said. 

For a start, Ejiofor donated playing kits which includes customized jerseys to Ejiwumi Football Club for their participation for the forthcoming Gwagwalada Football League, and promised to render more supports to the team to ensure that they succeed in the league and beyond "Ejiwumi FC has come of age, and now they should take their game beyond Gwagwalada and FCT. I will support them to achieve this dream" he concluded.
