In form Bayelsa Queens left wing back, Iheoma Chinyere Susan has made the Women's Champions League WAFU B qualifiers group stage Best XI after posting some eye -catching performances for the Posperity Girls in the ongoing 2024/2025 tournament.

The Nigerian with two other teammates of hers, Aderemi and Moshood made the cut in the prestigious CAF Best XI squad. 

Reacting an excited Iheoma said it's a testament of the hard work she has been putting in which she's happy people have taken notice of it.

"I want to thank God for this great feat which is another milestone in my promising career.

"This has even spurred me to want to give more. I'm very excited that the hard work which I have been putting in has not gone unnoticed. 

"My appreciation goes to CAF, my coaches, my teammates and the entire management of Bayelsa Queens", she said.

Bayelsa Queens FC has been impressive and dominant at the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers, making it three wins out of three with  convincing victories over Police Ladies FC of Ghana, ASKO FC of Togo and Sam-Nelly FC of Benin Republic to book their place in the semi finals where they will face USFA of Burkina Faso on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
