Dr. Musa Aliyu, SAN, Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), announced that the Commission will enforce the recent Supreme Court ruling on local government autonomy. Speaking at the One-Day National Anti-Corruption Coalition (NACC) Members Forum in Abuja, he emphasized the need for local governments to be led by democratically elected officials of integrity.

Dr. Aliyu asserted that enforcing the Supreme Court's decision is a constitutional obligation of the ICPC. "We must protect the integrity of our courts," he stated, vowing not to allow any dismantling of this integrity during his tenure. He expressed his determination and faith, declaring, "Nobody can do anything to me except God allows it."
