Nigerian singer David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, recently revealed that he met his wife Chioma Rowland before he achieved fame and fortune.

Davido emphasizes the importance of those who were there for him from the beginning. He says that true success involves having people around you who have supported you throughout your journey.

“I have a friend who would always say he has everything in the world but a wife,” Davido says. “That’s what he’s missing.”

Davido feels fortunate to have met Chioma when he had nothing. He believes that if he had met someone after he became famous, it would not have been genuine.

“I met my wife before I had money,” Davido reveals. “But I was telling myself that if I hadn’t met her then and I was single now, and I met a girl, it wouldn't be the same. I would feel the lady is talking to me because I am Davido and I have money.”

For Davido, success is not just about material possessions or personal achievements. It’s about having the love and support of the people who have been there for you since the beginning.
