A man named Famoroti Tunde escaped arrest on the 16th of April 2023 for same-sex practice. According to the Police, they were invited to Parktonia Hotel in Lagos by the Hotel Management where the accused Famoroti Tunde was trying to lure another man into a sexual relationship before a group of people burst through the door and caught him in a compromising state.

Before the arrival of the Police, he had broken loose and escaped arrest.

Police said on 20 April 2023, they traced him to his house at No 21 Kafayat Abdulrazak Street, Lekki Phase One, Lagos Nigeria, they only met his mother, who claimed ignorant of his whereabouts.

Police said a few days after, based on intelligent reports, they traced him to a church in the Badagry area of Lagos state, where he also escaped. Police therefore declared him wanted while pleading to members of the public with information that would lead to his arrest to report to the nearest Police station.
