A herbalist from Kuchibuyi village in Abuja was hospitalized after an ill-fated experiment involving charms and a homemade gun. The incident, which occurred on November 23, 2024, prompted a swift response from the FCT Police Command.

FCT Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, revealed that a search of the herbalist’s home led to the discovery of the firearm and various charms used in the failed experiment. The suspect, identified as Usman, is under investigation and will face charges for unlawful possession of firearms and attempted suicide under Section 231 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria.
