Heartland Aiming For Katsina United Scalp To Turn Season Around

Naze Millionaires, Heartland FC, will aim to turn their 2024/2025 domestic top flight campaign around with a win when they welcome Katsina United in an NPFL Match Day Three fixture on Sunday inside the green lush natural grass pitch of Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
The five-time champions are without a win in their opening two fixtures of the season. Though lost 1-3 respectively to Enyimba on Match Day One in Owerri and Rivers United in Port Harcourt last weekend, the youngsters Emmanuel Amuneke is packaging are gradually coming through his philosophy and methodology.
A possible win against the Chanji Boys on Sunday will ultimately shoot up their self-belief and equip them with the confidence to fire from all cylinders.
"That's the objective at the moment. And we've been working on the different aspects of the team over the week", an official quipped.
Technical Manager, Emmanuel Amuneke, MFR, had recently declared that the team is still 'work in progress' and 'not under any form of pressure' whatsoever. This could be seen in the noticeably development in their training sessions.
"We've see a lot in the their trainings to be positive and confident of the three points on Sunday against Katsina United", one of the Supporters Club members, who gave his name simply as Akachi told Exclusivenews.com.ng after Thursday morning's training session.
