President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau will on Tuesday , September, 16, 2025 lead other board members of the football house to Kaduna to  grace the 15th Annual General Meeting of Nigeria National League ( NNL)

The AGM which is holding at fifth Chukker Hotel and Suites, Kaduna  was initially slated for Wednesday 10-13 September,, 2025  but was  moved forward due to  logistic reasons.

At the meeting,  the board of the second tier League is expected to review it's activities for last season and chart a way forward to sustain the successes it  recorded in moving the most important league in the country forward.

During the  AGM, the league board will  officially announce teams  that were promoted to the Premier League,  those relegated and the ones that gained promotion from the Nation One League to the NNL . Date for the commencement of the 2025/2026 League season will also be announced at the AGM

It's also expected that the league board will during the course of the AGM,  announce the official sponsor of the new League season.

Meanwhile Chairman of NNL, Mr. George Aluo has assured that all logistics have been put in place to ensure a successful AGM  noting that all the board members are on ground in Kaduna and  eagerly awaiting the NNF President and his entourage.

" Everything that will ensure a successful AGM have been put in place and all board members and stakeholders of the league including club chairmen are all on ground in Kaduna and I can assure you that we are ready to have a successful AGM", he assured.
