Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo will wear Jersey number 001 when the Anambra State All Stars battle their Ex-Rangers counterparts inside the Awka City Stadium, on Monday, 29 December, 2025, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The Novelty Match is the high point of the 'Onwa D'zemba 2025 activities lined up by the state.

Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, who will midwife the game, are understood to have imported brand new jerseys from China which were taken delivery of on Sunday, 28 December, 2025.

It's not clear as at press time which side His Excellency, Governor Chukwuma Soludo will feature, having taken delivery of two pairs of jerseys, one for the Ex-Rangers and the other for the Anambra State All Stars.

The Ex-Rangers will be dressed in the Coal City Flying Antelopes all-red attire while Anambra State All Stars team will wear an all white jersey.

Chikelue Iloenyosi, a former Super Eagles defender and Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, will be in the dug-out as Coach of the Anambra State All Stars Team.

Iloenyosi, whose assumption of office as ANSFA Chairman, has made grassroots football the thrust of his administration.

Exclusivenews.com.ng checks reveal that the match will kick off at 3pm on Monday.

The game is part of 'The Christmas glow' which is still fresh, as the festive fire in Ọnwa Dezemba still burns hotter than ever.
