Get NPFL Ticket And Leave The Rest For Me; Soludo Orders Solutiin FC Players As He Rains Millions Of Naira On Team
BY SAB OSUJI
Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has told players and officials of the state team, Solution FC to aim at at securing promotion to the elite domestic league, NPFL, for him and 'leave the rest for me', Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Soludo spoke Tuesday night at Government Lodge, Amawbia, when he received members of the young club and their technical and management staff.
Soludo gave out a 50kg bag of rice to each of the players and redeemed his earlier promise to dole out N1m to the team for every match won in their Nigeria National League, NNL campaign. He gave out N2m to the squad representing the two matches they have won so far in the campaign.
That was not all. The former Central Bank of Nigeria promised to reward the team with N2m for each match won if they qualify for the Super 8.
"I expect you to make it to the Premier League. I know that you have the potential and quality.
"Just do that and leave the rest for me. I won't make any promise or pronouncement for now. Just do it and see things for yourselves", Governor Soludo said.
Though Solution FC was barely one month old before the start of the season, and was yet to be officially unveiled due mainly to Governor Soludo's crowded schedule prior to the start of the 2023/2024 second tier league, NNL got underway, the Coach Uche Okagbue charges have braved the odds to win two games so far in the four-week old campaign.
