The Fix PDP, Fix Nigeria group has issued a strong warning to former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose and former Senator Dino Melaye, advising them to desist from casting aspersions on the very party that gave them political relevance and elevated them from obscurity.

In a statement signed by Abubakar Muktar on behalf of the group, he said:

“We are aware that some of these individuals attacking the PDP today were once beneficiaries of its goodwill. One of them was a taxi driver and bus conductor, the other a bread seller. Today, they boast of mansions in Dubai, Abuja, and Lagos with no traceable or legitimate source of income, all thanks to the platform PDP gave them.”

He went on to say that those who rose through the ranks of the PDP should show gratitude, not betrayal. “It is unfortunate that men who once knelt before the PDP for tickets are now standing on rooftops to insult it. This kind of disloyalty is shameful,” Muktar said.

The group further advised Fayose and Melaye to be cautious with their words and actions, reminding them that history always remembers those who destroy what once built them.

“The PDP may not be perfect, but it remains the most national and people driven platform this country has ever seen. Opportunists and political wanderers will not be allowed to tear it down for personal vendettas,” the statement concluded.
