A real estate firm, Ama- Davis Nigeria Limited, has pledged to help the Federal Government in tackling the nation’s housing deficit by providing 1 million affordable housing units for Nigerians.

The Managing Director, Ama- Davis limited, Mr Ibrahim Arasah, made the pledge on Wednesday in Abuja at the ground breaking ceremony on Wednesday in Abuja.

Arasah said his firm was deeply committed to tackling Nigeria’s housing crisis by offering solutions and investing in projects in fast-developing locations.

He said that the Ama Davis 1 million Housing Project was situated in Nasarawa State which shared border with the FCT.

According to him, the site is a 13 minutes ride to Apo, FCT.

Arasah said such an initiative not only contributed to housing stock, but also stimulated economic growth and job creation.

“We have been doing it for more than 10 years and we will continue to do it; you can see what we are coming out to do; we have the expertise and we have the heart for people especially widows, people with disabilities, among others.

“We are showcasing a new site which will house a million housing units, located in Nasarawa State here.

“It is super affordable; a studio apartment is going for N13 million while a two bedroom sells for N15 million and we have different offers and discounts for different sections of the society.

“It is an all-encompassing project which accommodates large and small families.

“We are doing this to showcase Nigeria to the general public and people in the diaspora,” he said.

Mr Elvis Necus-Agba, the Executive Director of the Ama-davis 1 million Housing Project, said the project would make pave way for every Nigerian and also create a platform for a more inclusive and accessible real estate market.

He said the firm was ensuring that every Nigerian had the opportunity to own a home.

Necus- Agba said Nigeria stood at a critical juncture where addressing its housing deficit was imperative for sustainable development.

“Investing in real estate is not just about building houses; it is about building a future where every Nigerian has a place to call home and Ama Davids is equal and prepared, ” he said.

Sllipknot Asuquo, an artist, called on Nigerians to make the vision a reality by keying into it and availing friends and family members the same opportunity.

Asuquo, who is the brand ambassador of the firm, called on his fans worldwide to buy into the real estate adding that he could guide their investment journey every step of the way.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Nigeria’s housing deficit is estimated to need around 17 million housing units to bridge the gap.
