Fire Service Rescue 55-Year-Old Man Wey Fall Inside Gutter for Ikorodu Road, Lagos
One 55-year-old man don escape death by small chance after he fall inside one underground drainage along Ikorodu Road, near Idiroko Bus Stop, for Lagos, Saturday afternoon.
According to tori from Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, dem get distress call around 12:24 p.m., and immediately send firefighters from Ilupeju Fire Station go the area to help the man wey don fall inside the big gutter.
Madam Margaret Adeseye, wey be Director of the Fire Service, talk say the rescue no easy at all because the gutter deep and risky.
“Our team start a very delicate rescue operation using proper safety methods to make sure say we bring the man out alive,” she talk.
After plenty hours of careful work, the firefighters finally bring the man out alive and hand am over to police officers from Anthony Police Division to give am more help.
The rescue operation wey start around midday gather plenty people for the scene as onlookers stand watch the firefighters do their thing. By 3:41 p.m., the whole operation don finish and dem secure the place make another person no go fall inside again.
