FFCN President Hails NFF's Monthly Football Awards Initiative
Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa, President of the Football Fans Club of Nigeria (FFCN), has commended the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for launching the Monthly Football Awards.
Ogunfuwa praised NFF's Board, led by Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, describing the initiative as a catalyst for Nigerian players' growth and a boost to the country's football image globally.
The awards will recognize exceptional players in various categories, including:
1. Player of the Month (Male & Female)
2. Goal of the Month
3. Discovery of the Month
Nominations will be based on scientific analysis, ensuring fairness and accuracy. Fans and journalists will vote via the NFF website, with fan votes accounting for 40% of the final decision.
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said the awards aim to elevate Nigerian football, recognize talent, and foster a connection between players and supporters.
Ogunfuwa expressed optimism that the initiative will bring enthusiasm and positive energy to Nigerian football.
