FCT Wan Build Bus Terminals for Gwagwalada, Bwari to Fight “One Chance” Wahala

To help make people wey dey enter bus safe and stop “one chance” robbers, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), under Minister Nyesom Wike, don talk say dem go build new bus terminals for Gwagwalada and Bwari Area Councils.
This one na follow the bus terminals wey dem already dey build for Kugbo, Mabushi and Central Business District since June 2024.
As Minister Wike dey inspect ongoing projects like the International Conference Centre and the 12km Ushafa road, him talk say dem don agree to expand the bus terminal project. “Last time we go Mabushi and Kugbo. Now, we don agree say one go dey for Gwagwalada and another for Bwari,” na so he talk.
He say the terminals go help people wey dey come from satellite towns enter town safely. “Once all these terminals dey ready, e go dey easy for people to waka without fear. You go just enter any terminal, find bus or taxi go where you dey go – no more ‘one chance’ wahala,” he yarn.
Wike still talk say government don do their part, so anybody wey still choose to enter bus from roadside dey so at their own risk. “If na you choose say you wan stand for road dey wait for bus, that one na your own. Government don do wetin dem suppose do,” he add.
The Minister come happy say the projects dey go well, especially the 12km Ushafa road. He also talk say dem dey plan to dualize Kuje-Gwagwalada road.
He say dem dey prepare to commission all these projects after Sallah, as part of celebration for President Bola Tinubu second year for office.
“I talk say we dey watch the calendar… I believe say e fit happen after Sallah. So we go use two weeks take prepare. Then Mr. President go commission all the projects,” Wike talk.
He also talk say him don beg President Tinubu make him try visit at least two Area Councils, so the people fit see am with their own eyes and appreciate the work wey government dey do.
