The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 19-year-old Fatimo Agboke for allegedly stabbing 20-year-old Faruk Azeez to death during an argument. The incident occurred on September 9 at approximately 9:20 p.m. in the Ijegun area of Lagos.

According to Police Spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspect was apprehended after the victim's father filed a complaint at the Isheri-Osun Division. Hundeyin stated that the argument between Agboke and Azeez escalated into a physical fight, resulting in Azeez being stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle.

Despite attempts to rush Azeez to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries and died. Detectives from the division visited the scene, where they found Azeez's lifeless body with a deep cut on his neck. The corpse has been deposited at Mainland General Hospital, Yaba, for autopsy.

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Azeez's death.
