Emmanuel Deutsch Takes Charge At Solution FC As Team Departs For Aba For The NALCOMA/Abia State Govt 8-Team Pre-Season Tournament
Emmanuel Deutsch, a veteran Cameroonian coach, has assumed duties at Solution FC in the capacity of technical adviser, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
This is even as the Anambra State Government owned and funded club departs their Awka base on Sunday, 3 November, 2024, for Aba, Abia State to participate in the inaugural edition of the Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association, NALCOMA, 8-team Pre-Season Tournament.
The Preseason tournament is being organised by eight NNL clubs essentially from the South East Zone in partnership with Abia State Government.
Deutsch, who had previously held managerial spells at Abia Warriors and Heartland, amongst other top Nigeria League clubs, replaces fellow Cameroonian gaffer, Tony Encho.
Encho arrived the club midway last season under stop-gap arrangement, following the sudden death of Uche Okagbue, then Head Coach of the team.
Exclusivenews.com.ng checks reveal that Deutsch will be assisted by Christian 'De Bull' Okonkwo in the capacity of Chief Coach.
Solution FC made its debut in the second tier domestic club football league last term just few months after the state government acquired a slot in the 'most important league'. The club struggled all through the campaign and barely survived relegation on the last match day of the season.
The 2024/2025 NNL season is billed to get underway later this month.
