Edo Queens Coach Moses Aduku Sets Sights on Winning All Remaining Games After Victory Over Nasarawa Amazons
Following Edo Queens’ 2-0 win over Nasarawa Amazons, head coach Moses Aduku has set an ambitious target of winning all remaining matches to finish unbeaten in Group A and secure a place in the NWFL Super Six Playoffs.
The defending champions ended a streak of consecutive 1-1 draws against Remo Stars Ladies and Dannaz Ladies, with Mary Mamudu and Goodness Osigwe sealing the much-needed victory.
“We thank God for this game. The girls gave their all, though we missed some other chances,” Aduku said after the win. “Now, we must focus on our next away match and fight for all three points.”
The victory keeps Edo Queens in second place in Group A with 11 points, trailing leaders Remo Stars Ladies by just two points.
“For us at Edo Queens, it’s operation win all,” Aduku declared. “We are heading back to the drawing board to fix some errors, and by God’s grace, we will return from Kogi with three points.”
