ECN Global Ventures Academy at the weekend emerge Champions of the Patrick Bassey U13 Football  tournament in Gwagwalada.

The tournament which was organized by the Gwagwalada Football Coaches Council saw the ECN boys defeating the Sheikhadam Academy by two goals to nil.

The ECN Global U15 also emerged second runners up in the Bocknor U15 Tournament in the area.

Receiving the victorious teams at the Corporate office of the ECN Global Ventures Limited in Gwagwalada Abuja, the Executive Director of organization Patrick Ngwaogu described the feat of the boys as unprecedented considering the fact that teams were only formed five months ago. He promised cash prizes to to the players, and a session Scholarship award to three outstanding players of the two teams.

Nzubechi Okpalaeke emerged the best goalkeeper of the Bocknor U15 Championship, 
Nzubechi Ebele of U13 team emerged also the best goalkeeper of the Bassey U.13 Tournament. Both were awarded a session scholarship to continue their academic pursuit. Same to
Shiloh Sunday the most valuable player of the team.
