Tragedy struck at the Ijanikin Police Station in Lagos State on Thursday night when the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Bolaji Olugbenga, suddenly slumped in his office and passed away before medical help could arrive. The shocking incident has left the officers at the station in mourning.

According to a police officer who wished to remain anonymous, CSP Olugbenga's body has been moved to a mortuary. "He slumped in the office on Thursday and was quickly rushed to the hospital, but sadly, we lost him," the officer said.

The Lagos State Police Command has yet to release an official statement on the incident . The sudden loss of their leader has undoubtedly sent shockwaves through the police community, and our thoughts are with CSP Olugbenga's family, colleagues, and friends during this difficult time.
