Kenya, one of Africa’s entries to the world U17 female football cup in the Dominic Republic is out of the championship with one game left after losing her second match to North Korea by three goals to nothing.

Ryu-Gyong So scored the first goal for North Korea in the 8th minute and in the 11th minute made her brace for Kuka-Hyang Ri to score the 3rd goal at the 86th minute.

Kenya lost her first group match 0-2 to England and North Korea spanked Mexico 4-1.

The other group C match was tougher though it ended with England winning Mexico 4-2.

Mexico’s goal in the 9th minute was rejected by VAR only for Defender, Zara Shaw to score England’s opener at the 11th minute but Salas Valdez got Fragoso Garcia’s assist to equalize in the 17th minute.

VAR again rejected Mexico’s penalty award in the 35th minute and then Mexico’s Soto Ramirez scored the country’s 2nd goal of the match via penalty kick at the 49th minute.

Nigerian born Omotara Fiyinfoluwa Junaid starring for England saw red in the 57th minute before England got her equalizer in the 61st minute from Nelly Lasova through a Thompson connect.

England suffered a rejection of penalty award via VAR in the 85th minute but got her 3rd goal in the 88th minute when Nelly Lasova found Rachael Maltby who scored only for Olivia Hibert-Johnson to increase the goals tally in the 90+11th minute to four for England ending the match 4-2.

So Kenya and Mexico are just waiting for their last group games as both has no point in group C yet and both North Korea and England already has 6 points each. And on Wednesday at midnight, England will struggle for group supremacy with North Korea and Mexico will have fun in a formality match with Kenya.
