Dominant Ozalla FA Down St Nwadinso 2-0 In NLO Thriller; Go Top Of Group Standings

Two second half goals from captain Chukwuebuka Ewudo and Francis Nzubechukwu proved decisive as Ozalla Football Academy ran out 2-0 with a dominant performance against St Nwadinso in a matchday four of the ongoing NLO playoffs at Awka City Stadium, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
And the sumptuous result proved just enough for the 2023 NEROS Pharmaceuticals/Anambra FA Cup winners to race to the top of the group B table with nine (9) points after four games.
The Ikenna Osueke charges are ahead of second placed Campos FC, Owerri, on superior goal aggregate with three games still remaining on the group fixtures.
An obviously pleasant Ikenna Osueke, sole financier of Ozalla FA said after the final whistle that it was a tough 'Idemili Derby'.
"First, I must give thanks to God for making it possible for us to win. It was a tough game and of course, you don't expect anything less because, it's a derby, kind of", Osueke said.
"Yes, we're on top of the group table but it's not yet a done deal. It's not yet over because we still have three games still remaining.
"We only need to work harder in the remaining matches. But, it's a tough contest so far", Osueke who's fondly called called 'Coach' said.
