NFF Reschedules Extraordinary General Assembly to March 23

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced a change in the date for its forthcoming Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA).

 

In an official notice addressed to delegates, including State Football Associations, leagues, coaches, referees’ and players’ associations, the NFF disclosed that the Extra-Ordinary General Assembly earlier scheduled for February 14, 2026, has been rescheduled.

 

According to the notice, which was issued by order of the NFF Executive Committee and signed by the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, MON, the new date for the congress is Monday, March 23, 2026.

 

The venue for the rescheduled assembly remains Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, while proceedings are expected to commence at 10:00am.

 

The NFF urged all stakeholders and accredited delegates to take note of the new date and make necessary adjustments to their plans.

 

The Extraordinary General Assembly is expected to bring together key stakeholders in Nigerian football to deliberate on important matters affecting the administration and development of the game in the country.
