In a move to reposition the sorry state of the sports sector in the Country, the House Committee on Sports is set to engage all Stakeholders to advance the cause of Sports to an enviable Pedestal.
 

While speaking at the inaugural meeting of the newly constituted Committee, the Chairman of the Committee, Honourable, Kabiru Amadu says the committee understands that there is not much to be excited about in the Country's sports but vowed to ensure that things are done differently this time around.

 
According to him, " there is no doubt that we have a big  task ahead of us to  reposition this Committee for optimum performance".
 
" It is worthy of note that, Sports is a veritable instrument of reducing crime and unemployment if optimally pursued. It generates big foreign exchange for Countries all over the World".
