The Moroccan female U20 football team is right at the Exit door of the world tournament as she lost her second group C match to the Yankees of America, USA 0-2 on Thursday.

Yuna McCormack scored a brace in the 48th minute through Thompson pass and in the 90+6th minute through Moddie Dahlien assist to drown the North Africans without the Mediterranean Sea.

Morocco was a minnow before The Yankee babes who were rather wasteful and playing to the gallery for USA had 32-4 shots at goal; 9-2 on target; had far better ball possession of 70-30%; stringing a whopping 593-261 passes in the “hee, hee, hee” style of Nigerian football; also had 14-0 corner kicks advantage only for Morocco to bag more foul calls of 6-4.

Morocco lost to Paraguay by the same margin in the first group match when Spain piped USA by a lone goal not forgetting that Spain had thrashed Paraguay 2-0 earlier in the 2nd group match.

The last group C matches will take place simultaneously on Sunday 8th September  when USA will tackle Paraguay and Morocco has an arduous task to beat Spain at midnight.

The table for Group C shows Spain leading with 6 full points and +3 goals difference; USA is second with 3 points with +1 goals difference; Paraguay is third with 3 points but zero Goals difference while Morocco with no point has -4 goals deficit.

The Falconets breathe a sigh of relief in Group D when their compatriots, South Korea and Venezuela played a barren draw.

Germany had in the first round sent Venezuela to the gulag by 5-2 and caged the Falconets 3-1 in their second game while The Falconets piped South Korea by a lone goal in her first match.
