Afrobeat superstar Davido has praised his father, Adedeji Adeleke, for donating N1 billion to the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church. The donation was made in memory of his late mother, Esther Adeleke, during her remembrance service at the church's headquarters in Lagos.

Reacting to the viral video of the event, Davido wrote on Tunde Ednut's comment section, "Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out." He also took to his Instagram story, saying, "My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here."

The donation ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and media entrepreneur Dele Momodu.

Davido's father, Adedeji Adeleke, is known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly in education and religious institutions. His generous donation has sparked praise from his son and many others.
