Every creature of God is gifted with one talent or the other. Ability to discover, develop and consciously nurture it to stardom is what makes the difference. 

Coach Gilbert Igwe  is the Chief Coach of FOSLA Academy, Karshi, a football Academy that is fanatically committed to discovering talents from primary school, train through secondary school to the university and at the same time hone their skills with the aim of developing them to stardom. 

Coach Igwe discovered his gift of identifying talents  especially among children that he has remained faithful to the verge of making history as the best Coach at the grassroots in the country . 

As the pioneer Coach of the Academy, the successes of winning back - to - back since 2016 till date FCT Principals Cup which culminated in winning the revived National Principal's Cup by the Federal Ministry of Sports in 2021 is a testament of the football wizardry of the Coach who does not only epitomises humility but gentility personified. 

Today, he is counting his blessings and naming them one by one with avalanche of trophies/ medals in his kitty and stars being produced from the Academy for the national teams especially at the age - grade level.

His numerous medals include Shell Cup (silver) Copa-Coca-Cola (Silver and Bronze) , Etisalat Cup (silver medals) , FCT Principals Cup (gold) medals, National Principals Cup (gold) among others.
