City FC of Abuja , club’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO),Chidi Okonkwo, Visits Nasarawa Attorney General, Presents Club Jersey Ahead of NNL Clash With Lobi Stars.
Okonkwo, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, ahead of the club’s opening fixture in the 2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The visit, which took place at the Attorney General’s office in Lafia, featured the presentation of the club’s official replica jersey and a branded souvenir to Barr. Danladi.
Speaking during the courtesy call, Okonkwo said the gesture was aimed at strengthening collaboration and appreciating the Attorney General’s long-standing support for youth development and sports advancement in the state.
He reiterated the club’s commitment to building a highly competitive team driven by professionalism, talent nurturing, and robust community engagement.
According to him, football remains a powerful avenue for empowering young people, fostering unity, and stimulating social development.

City FC Abuja will kick off their 2025 NNL campaign this weekend with a highly anticipated clash against Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi at the Lafia City Stadium.
