Ifeanyi Ojukwu, Chief of Staff To Anambra State FA Chairman, has penned an emotional birth day message of good will to former Nigeria international and current Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Chikelue Iloenyosi.

Ojukwu was on duty over the week in Uyo where Super Eagles strolled past Mediterrenean Knights of Libya 1-0 in a 2025 AFCON qualifier.

But as the birth day of his 'hero' beckoned, Ojukwu hurried departed Uyo on Saturday for his 'hero's' birth day on Sunday, 13 October, 2024.

Iloenyosi represented Nigeria at the U20, U23s and senior levels during his illustrious career.

"It's with great delight that I celebrate the birthday anniversary of my amiable boss, my mentor, my hero and my brother turned friend", Ojukwu wrote.

"Knowing you has been nothing but a pleasant ride. 
You are one person whom I respect so much as a result of your resilience, determination and ability to dream big. 

"Your kindness and humane gestures are second to none. I can beat my chest and say truly, that you've earned my trust and respect.

"At this juncture, I'd like to say, thank you for giving me the platform to explore. For chosing me, I'm grateful! For carrying me along, I'm grateful!!! For the times you've had to deal with my weaknesses and utilize my strengths, I'm grateful!! For the brotherly love, care and understanding, I truly, and most humbly appreciate!!! For putting a wall of defense all around me, I appreciate!!!!
