Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for the Best Goalkeeper award in the French Arkema Premier League.

The Paris FC star is nominated alongside Paris Saint-Germain’s Mary Earps and Olympique Lyon’s Christiane Endler.

Nnadozie has been outstanding throughout the season, keeping 10 clean sheets for her club. Endler leads the race with 13 shutouts, while Earps has recorded eight.

The 24-year-old Nigerian made history last season by becoming the first African and Nigerian to win the prestigious award. She also bagged the National Union of Professional Footballers’ (UNFP) Best Goalkeeper prize for the 2023/24 season.

Nnadozie’s latest nomination highlights her rising status as one of the top goalkeepers in women’s football globally.
