The Kano State Hisbah Board don arrest 62 people – 27 men and 35 women – for one raid wey happen for inside Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT) annex wey dey DawakinKudu Local Government Area of the state.

 

Deputy Commandant of Hisbah, Mujahid Aminudeen, yarn dis one give news people on Monday, say dem do the operation with help from National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

 

“On Sunday, we get intel from some good people say immoral things dey happen for that NITT training centre. As rain dey fall steady-steady, the suspects take advantage dey ‘enjoy themselves’ anyhow,” Aminudeen talk.

 

Him say Hisbah join body with NDLEA to raid the place, and na there dem catch the 62 people.

 

“We wan use this opportunity warn youths make dem stop to dey do immoral things. Anybody wey no hear word go face law,” the deputy commandant add.

 

He come still talk say Hisbah also carry out another operation for Tamburawa Bridge, where dem catch some other people for similar waka.

 

The Hisbah Board don promise say as soon as dem finish investigation, all the suspects go face court for violating Shari’a law for the state.

 

Aminudeen beg the public make dem continue to report anybody wey dey do things wey go against Islamic law for Kano.
