The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially announced Ghana as the host nation for the CAF African Schools Football Championship 2025, set to take place from April 21 to April 26, 2025.
The Continental Finals will be played at the University of Ghana’s Legon Sports Stadium in Accra, marking the first time the tournament’s final stage will be held in West Africa. Previous editions took place in South Africa (2023) and Tanzania (2024).
Launched in April 2022 by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe in Maputo, Mozambique, the championship aims to develop grassroots football across Africa, providing young talents with a platform to showcase their skills.
Ghana’s selection as the 2025 host underscores the country’s strong football culture and commitment to youth development in African football.
