Bravehearts Helena Solomon Delighted By Her Two Goals Performance Vs Disdevt In Afrik
Bravehearts football club forward, Helena Solomon has expressed delight with her two goals performance in Tuesday's 4-2 thrashing of Disdevt in Afrik in a matchday two fixture of the ongoing Judith Chime Championship in Enugu, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Bravehearts are third in the group C standings with three points, same as Solo Wonders who have superior goal difference.
Both teams are billed to face each other on Wednesday in the final group fixture.
Helena Solomon would not make any pretences about her joy in scoring twice in Tuesday's game to help her team record their first win of the campaign.
"I must say I'm very, very excited about my scoring two goals today", starts the cool, calm and calculated striker.
"I'm glad that it happened. I'm happy".
She reflected on the thrilling contest that overall, produced electrifying moments for the fans.
"We'll, to be honest, it was quite a great game and I'm very excited because our first game wasn't as favourable as this but we've put in a good fight and I'm happy it really paid off and we won".
Bravehearts are up against Solo Wonders in a potential gritty fixture to climax group C games on Wednesday. And the rampant forward says she looks forward to the game with optimism.
"I think we'll have to do more than we've done today. We still have some works to do so that we can come back stronger and better than we are today".
She was full of commendations to the organisers of the Judith Chime Championship for the platform provided for the girls to horn their skills and revealed her ambition to play professional football.
"We're grateful to the organisers of this Championship. It's a good opportunity for us to improve on our skills.
"I'm very happy that this competition provided a good opportunity for me as a player and also for others.
"For me, my desire is to play professional football afterwards and I think this competition is a good preparatory ground".
