Obi was relieved of his appointment after leading the to a winless five matches in the current league season.

Since assumption of duties, Kennedy Boboye has taken the Naze Millionaires from the red lines.

"I want to tell you, since I started coaching, this is the first club that I have gotten the best maximum support. They have been there for me, but it's very unfortunate that I will not be there again with them after today's match. I wish them well " the former Sharks FC bully striker said in tears.

Christian Obi who led the Heartland team to return to the NPFL at the end of last season is expected to return to the dugout with the Week 17 matches.
