Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Sultana has spoken out following the tense Week 5 nominations, where the show reverted to the traditional nomination format for the first time this season.

 

During her diary session on Tuesday afternoon, Sultana confidently stated that she believes her fellow housemates nominated her because they see her as a major threat in the competition.

 

“I was nominated because people see me as competition,” she told Biggie. “If I was given the power to take out people, I will not take out weak people, I will take out the strong people that will give me problem later.”

 

The traditional nomination style—where each housemate selects two others for possible eviction—was reintroduced by Big Brother on Monday evening, replacing the open-for-all eviction format that had been in place since the season’s launch.

 

However, in a dramatic twist, this week’s nominations were nullified after Rooboy, the current Head of House, activated a surprise power from the Tree of Trinkets. The power, titled “Nullify Nominations”, meant that no housemate will be evicted this week, leaving all contestants safe.
